Seeing the mountains grow on the horizon line as you head west is a sublime experience.  Add in a peaceful sunset and it becomes a feeling of release, of awe, of wonder and peace.  This painting was created to evoke feelings of calmness and my hope is that when you view “Sublime” it serves as a gateway to the serenity to that the mountains can bring to us.
