Coming from the West Coast of BC means I grew up with so much beauty around me; beauty in shades of grey, blue, green, beauty touched by misty days and subtle skies.  Moving to Alberta half a lifetime ago threw me into vibrant, bold colours I could hardly believe existed in real life.  With the glowing canola fields and the amazing sunsets we have here, this piece is inspired by summertime in the prairies.
