This painting is based on the recently restored grain elevator in Mossleigh, AB. Built in 1930, this monolith stands with two others in an impressive row on the prairie landscape.  After a road trip out to see these historical structures, I chose to capture the bold, vibrant elevator in a way to evoke the same feelings of awe that I had when I stood on the road near the towering building.  I hope this painting can take you there.
